The client, an award winning web design firm approached us with a strong sense of identity and company spirit. In their first company headquarters they envisioned several key zones; a meeting area, a dedicated work place and a space for meditation, which would all the while maintain a lively, open flow. In order to realise their vision we incorporated floating walls with windows and sliding door features .
Several sculpted elements were created, especially within the desks, to merge work and art into one. There was also a strong desire for plants to merge into this spacial energy. Daniel´s sculptures rise out of the desks to become lights creating a combination of art and function, which is one of the core elements of making art integral to life; especially since much of it is largely spent at work. As with all of our designs, we made the office extremely child/fun friendly. The meeting room swing has proved especially popular!
