It has been by privilege to be able to seek out Linda´s advise in the past years when it comes to creating singular experiences within our events and it is because of her input in collaboration with us that the clients keep coming back year after year to set up their events. No matter what size of event we are setting up, whether it be a company gala balls, company days or town celebrations, everything that linda touches is done with passion, vision and above all professionalism par excellence. There are no problems that do not find a suitable solutions.
In the world of events management there are unfortunately too many dreamers of big ideas without the practical sense of what is achievable. The great thing about working with Linda is that she combines sensibility with creativity. There is often much stress and pressure around the organization and implementation of events, but this has never touched Linda, quite to the contrary with organization, creativity and a always with a smile she has a way of calming everything down in order for the operation to run smoothly.
Our clients include Icelandair, Icelandair Group, Nýherji, Actavis and Faxaflóahafnir all large companies that expect the very highest of standards and professionalism as well as a managed budget. Linda has always been highly regarded by all these companies for her manner of work, both in preparation and installation.

In 2013 the governing body overseeing The Festival of the Ocean took the decision to change a significant part of the weekend´s activities. These changes affected the children´s area, where we decided to replace the bouncy castles and develop an area that truly connected the children and families to the ocean and harbor.
Krukka was sought out to design and set up a playground and the result was needless to say, excellent. The children were entertained in all manner of ways, from building boats with real hand tools, fishing and even ´walking the plank´. Parents joined in the fun, assisting and watched their children being creative, free from the usual cueing up and and paying entry fees.
We would, without hesitation recommend Linda Stefánsdóttir for all such projects, she is creatively wealthy and has the energy to activate and complete her vision.

Hjallastefnan has worked extensively with Daníel and Linda in the past few years on many progressive projects in ongoing development. Within this collaboration we project our ideas with regards to environmental consciousness as well as play situations, rather than playground equipment and they meet us with unique and creative additions and solutions. In this manner they have created play areas at many of our play and elementary schools, as well as creative entrances, outdoor and indoor teaching areas and that´s just naming a few projects.
They are quite simply genius creators, rich with ideas concerning construction as well as recycling of materials in an inventive and aesthetic manner.

This independent school system in Iceland has become a prime example of a dynamic and inspired new approach to education. Our collaboration began in 2011 and they soon became one of our main clients. Each school has required something unique and our approach, always involves the children and parents/community as much as possible, with reference to both the idea and execution stage. The core aesthetic, within this context is grounded and free of unnecessary and excessive decoration. They support our recycling ethics and see the value and energy of natural materials in the context of healthy environments, especially for our children. The projects are on-going and evolve in harmony with the seasons.
The owners of Spilavinir, employed the design skills of Linda Mjöll and Daníel Hjörtur at the time of moving their premises from Langholtsvegur to the larger accommodation in Skeifan. This collaboration and the resulting construction was so joyful and energetic, that we obviously re-engaged their skills the following year as we expanded our premises into a bookshop in the basement.
Our wish was, that the shop itself, by design would engage with and welcome the public. The atmosphere should immediately invite you to experience and engage with a cosy fairytale world where boardgames and players feel at home. This wish was most definitely fulfilled.
The construction all went according to plan and existing materials integrated into the new design. The owners, Linda and Svanhildur discussed their vision with the designers and what followed was a collaborative construction period. Their designs reflected the inherent Spilavina values and because of this integration the project seemed less like work but rather a joy driven creative experience in good company.
We are looking forward to seeing what brilliance Linda Mjöll and Daníel will come up with in the next stage of planning which will be a coffee shop.
